WHERE ARE THEY TODAY?

Them heroines of the past,
Through bitter challenges they passed,
In the exam of life they absolutely scored,
They had no reason to be incredibly scared,
Where are they, heroines of today?

Tabitha momah,in your absentia I appreciate,
Many souls you touched without any depreciate,
Of course a life well lived is a life lived for others,
Closer to light you brought them sisters and brothers,
Where are they today, heroines that need resurrection?

Esther my queen,my book talks much of your beauty,
But I can write more of your bravery it’s my duty,
Brainwashed with beauty that’s a fake queen,
But character, humility, courage you must take keen,
Where are they today, heroines that can save a multitude?

Ruth the Moabite, fruits of true friendship you earn,
Abandoning you didn’t consider, many should learn,
More of such friends would give life a sweeter taste,
Flee from them that oftenly run, they will put you to test,
Where are they today, heroines that can cling in both summer and winter?

The book talks of more I cannot re-write,
The fallen heroines could rise again and act right,
An attempt to be a ‘Tabitha’ ,a ‘Lydia’ best serves life,
In us impart the power of our mothers so we can live,
So we can be today, heroines like before….
