PEACE BE STILL.
Peace is the existence of understanding characterized with good life. Peace is not a mere existence of calmness and serenity; it is not a mere lack of war or open hatred amidst a people, it is a function of the love within portrayed in the life without.
Even though the election campaigns in the university of Moi University are at the peak, there should be no signs of tension nor fearing behavioural. Normal activities with total calmness are expected to go on. As the aspiring candidates for different posts keep their fire burning they should be sensitive about other students inner peace and harmony.
As a nation, we have been through moments none would yearn to re-live for instance; more often we were relieved by the input of our good neighbours. But for how long shall they be there to worry of the woes in their sister’s house? Where will we land ourselves once they stop caring? Who will remain standing once we will have all killed each other? What Kenya will our innocent children grow to inherit it in any case they survive that far? This is a question that all Moi University students should ponder.
It is time we all should hung up our swords, spears, stones, armors, pangas and instead take up the armory of love, kindness, humility and honesty. Let us cultivate within us the art to see others happy because of us. It was never by intent that any of us was born a Luhya, Kikuyu, Luo, Maasai, Gusii, Kamba, Kalenjin or any other tribe; but it is by intent that all of us can co-exist as a united nation/ university and forge a way out of our economic and political bondages.
How peaceful shall it sound when all the elections in this university for the year 2019 comes to pass without any chaos. Our hearts have long earned for real peace and by deeds each and everyone of us shall take part in this noble initiative.
There is every need that we pick up our pierced and broken pieces of or hearts and bias them for peace.

ReplyDeletePeace, love and unity

DeleteFirst paragraph, wow. Then you begin to mess grammatically. By the way, you're so good in hiding your mistakes. Something like calmness is an abstract noun. It's not an activity hence can't go on. Two, you dwelt much on general rhetorics instead of focusing on Moi University. Cumulatively knowledgeable article though
ReplyDeleteThanks Tobias I will rectify 😂😂😂😂
