BUILDING MOI UNIVERSITY SEVENTH-DAY CHURCH. Peace is the existence of understanding characterized with good life.  Peace is not a mere existence of calmness and serenity; it is not a mere lack of war or open hatred amidst a people, it is a function of the love within portrayed in the life without.                   POLITICAL UNREST.  A ll the streets in Moi university since the second week of the first semester the year 2020 have been busy not in much of academic endeavors but political pursuits. Various students from different schools have been seen moving up and down from one school to another, from door to door in the students residence to publicize their interests in whatever positions they are vying for. The aspirants have gone ahead to use means such as posters which they share online to reach many students within the shortest period of time possible, it is evident that time is running out and the voting is around the corner which is scheduled on 5th of February 2020. The campaigns are ongoing and seemingly, no aspirant is ready to lose to another. They are all on their toes to persuade comrades to support them win the elections.             NO SURCHARGES  NO RESUMPTION               OF STUDIES. All students resuming for their studies January the year 2020 in Moi University have been asked to report with one thousand nine hundred and fifty shillings  as surcharges for vanderlizing the university property during the strike that they held last year in October. The vice chancellor Professor Kosgei asked all the students to abide by the rules outlined in the memo by filling a form showing that one will not go against the university rules. The rules not only include the  payment of the surcharges fee but also the issue of cooking in the university hostels which has greatly affected the individual students at large due to added expenditure in buying of food in restaurants that some can hardly afford.
